'Daffodil'

Un
DeuxThis distortion of 'Society' is called 'Disfigurement' and is dedicated to the Monster in My Mirror and the Madness within Me.

'Disfigurement' portrays how the mirror should truly reflect us in Un; and how the mirror deceives our eyes in Deux.

Mirrors are tricky by nature.
Never trust them.
It was a wise person who said once, "Never trust your reflection," how right he is.

My Artwork Part IIIA

Inspired by Camilla Morton's 'A Year in High Heels'' October and based on the famous Ralph Waldo Emerson quote "Society is a masked ball, where everyone hides his real character, and reveals it by hiding."

I dub this very special piece, 'Society'; in memory of Ralph Waldo Emerson, may he rest in peace.

His immortal words still hold true. We, the living and the undead, reside in a world where no one truly shows who they are. The most concealed, perhaps, are us Vampires - shunned to live our deaths among the living and behind a veil of secrecy.

Yours in Death,
Truly hidden,

Vampire Girl

A little something I made as a personification of my mentor - A Vampire true to our nature.

My Artwork Part I

A Homage to my life-long style icon - Madame Audrey Hepburn.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is the ultimate character a woman can aspire to portray, even the un-dead kind.
I had the honor and privilege of being at the premiere in London on the 19th of October in 1961. It was a beautiful event and everyone was dressed in the most exquisite of draperies and dress gowns. A true White Tie event, if I remember correctly. Ms. Hepburn in her Holly Golightly hairdo was a sight to behold. An awe-inspiring woman, who in her prime was like Medusa, whosoever set their eyes upon her could not look away. The difference was that one was not turned to stone when one looked away, but surely such a travesty never happened.

Held at the Plaza, the menu included stuffed celery hors d'oeuvres, shrimp cocktails, the finest of Louis Roederer's Cristal Champagne and delectable waiters and waitresses. A true celebration and all for a noble and charitable cause.

In the honor of Holly Golightly, whenever I have let a stray cat become a permanent resident in my lair, I have called it "Cat" because "I'm like cat here, a no-name slob. We belong to nobody, and nobody belongs to us. We don't even belong to each other."

Cheers to all the Living.
Bon Appétit to all the Undead.
Yours in Death,
Vampire Girl
